This amp is really incredible, you can go for practically any sound you are looking for, from a '60s type Beatles tweed to Deep purple type classic Marshall distortion for songs like highway star,Burn etc. The insane amp model is perfect for metal songs, and is great for heavy rhythm parts.This amp has 4 channels and 3 different effects running at the same time.On board effect includes : chorus/phaser/tremolo/delay/tape echo/sweep echo/reverb.Each setting is tied in with the channel setting,and you can save it in any bank you like and even overwrite the presets.It comes with a headphones style out jack,which is good, the sound from the jack sounds almost the same as the speaker, another option is to plug it straight into your computer's line in socket and record it in Cubase/Logic etc. However the manual of the amp doesn't explain too much so its better to look up on the internet for more info.It's a great practice amp,and you can also plug in your Ipod or Mp3 player and Jam with backing tracks.It's great for gigs however micing could prove to be a tough job.
